The Journey

Founded in 2011, Top Rank Soccer Academy set out to raise the bar for youth soccer in Montgomery County, MD—and we’ve never looked back. Over the years, we’ve grown into one of the area’s leading academies, known for developing players who excel both on and off the field. Through passion, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way, we’ve helped countless young athletes grow their game and achieve their goals.

Our Founder

Coach Manny

Manny Woldamanuel, a two-time US Youth Soccer National Champion, is the founder and head coach of the academy. Before transitioning to coaching, he was an accomplished soccer player and a long-standing member of the Maryland Olympic Development Program (ODP). With nearly two decades of experience coaching Classic and Travel teams, Manny has also served as an assistant coach for the Maryland ODP and holds a USSF (United States Soccer Federation) coaching license. His commitment to mentoring athletes and shaping their futures is at the heart of TRSA’s success.
